On Sunday January 1, Robert Eagleson and Levon Kardashian visited the New Life Armenian Ministry where several refugee families had gathered alongside others for the New Years Day worship service. The visit was to distribute gifts prepared by the Café Play team for refugee children. The gifts were educational gifts designed for early childhood education prepared by Elizabeth Carrington.
Towards the end of the service, Levon gave an introduction of Northmead Uniting Church and Café Play and explained the importance of early childhood education and the role the gifts play in it. After the service, the children gathered in the back room and Robert and Levon handed them the gifts, which received with enthusiasm.
